Your Tasks:

This role is responsible for creating technical documents and manuals, explaining complex information in a clear and concise manner and working with scientific staff to ensure accuracy of descriptions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review technical documentation including test methods, specifications, protocols, reports, SOPs and change controls.
• Collaborate with application development programmers and determine the needs of end users of technical documentation.
• Study the programming, developmental, and experimental activities to determine operating procedure and detail.
• Organize material and completes writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
• Standardize content across platforms and media.
• Manage the production and publishing of required documentation.
• Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation.
• Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style and content.
• Revise documents, as needed.
• May gather usability feedback from customers and applications development teams based on business and/or department needs.
• May conduct and evaluate experimental procedures in a laboratory for quality assurance and documentation purposes based on business and/or department needs.
• May perform lab testing of processes for document consistency and quality control based on business and/or department needs.
• May perform data tracking for clinical production and maintain data sets based on business and/or department needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in biology or a related discipline and at least 2 years technical writing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and skilled at prioritization and multitasking.
• Knowledge of US FDA regulations, as well as clinical immunology, cellular therapy or blood banking/processing is a plus.
• Ability to operate a computer with Windows operating system, Outlook email, internet, and basic MS Office products.

Work Environment:

This job is performed in a temperature controlled, handicap-accessible facility without exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures. Generally, this job is performed in an office environment. Used research/clinical equipment may be handled in this job and strict SOPs and PPE must be worn. All persons performing this job will receive appropriate training prior to engaging in work requiring PPE or SOP procedures.

The anticipated base salary range has been established at $79,800 - $93,900/year. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialization, skills, abilities, and training. The above salary range represents the Company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition to your salary, the Company offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, and dental insurance, plus a 401(k) plan. All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses or commissions.
