Job Description

Executive Director

Organizational Background

Christian Union New York is a ministry of Christian Union. Founded in 2002, Christian Union is a Christian leadership development ministry promoting national revival and reformation, with two arms of ministry: Christian Union Universities and Christian Union America, including the ministry of Christian Union New York City. Christian Union Universities develop disciples of Jesus Christ at a handful of the nation’s most influential, secular universities and Christian Union America develops and connects followers of Christ among alumni of these universities and peers in key cities, and in service to churches across the nation.

Christian Union was formed for the purpose, by God’s power and with the help of other ministries, to change the world by bringing sweeping spiritual transformation to the nation’s most strategic universities, thereby developing and mobilizing godly leadership for all sectors of society. In 2016, Christian Union launched the second arm of the ministry, Christian Union America, to begin nationwide spiritual initiatives and to provide increased resourcing for Christian adults across America to live a seeking-God lifestyle, including CU Bible Studies, CU National Fasts, CU Fire Retreats, a mentorship Program, alumni engagement, communities of alumni engaging in strong devotional practices, Connect Groups, and more.

Vision and Mission: Imagine New York City transformed by the leadership and values of Christians with wholehearted devotion to the Lord.

Christian Union seeks a spirituality vibrant nation marked by Christian values permeating every corner of society. Christian Union New York City develops and connects transformative Christian leaders in the metro NYC area as a key strategy of Christian Union America’s larger ministry to mobilize Christian adults across the nation to seek the Lord wholeheartedly for national spiritual renewal.
