Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting
Job Description
The School of Business Administration at Clark Atlanta University invites applications for a tenuretrack faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, starting fall 2023. Candidates
must have an earned doctorate in the field of accounting (or allied disciplines) as well as a commitment to research, teaching, and engagement with students, faculty, the profession, and the community. ABDs are welcomed to apply for this position. We prefer candidates with a strong research interest with demonstrated capacity to publish in high-quality journals in the relevant disciplines and a broader portfolio of teaching interests and capabilities
Duties and Responsibilities.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Accounting,
2. Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students in Accounting and the Business
School in general.
3. Conduct research leading to publications in reputable and refereed academic and professional
journals in Accounting and related fields.
4. Provide service to the department, school, university and the profession.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
