Position: McCook Community College is seeking an enthusiastic, positive, team-oriented individual to join our team as the Assistant Director of Residence Life. Looking for someone who:

  • Is committed to fostering a vibrant residence life culture.
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Has relevant experience in student. development, residence life, or related areas

This is a full-time, live-in position aimed at enriching the residential experience for our students. The role of this position will revolve around enhancing the quality of life for students living on campus, active involvement in planning and executing residence life programs and events, addressing student conduct matters, and contributing to student development initiatives.

This position is a key member of the CARE Team, dedicated to supporting at-risk students. Duties will also involve participating in on-call rotations to address immediate needs and providing supervision and training to resident assistants and residence life assistants.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and computer skills are required. Previous experience in residence life and student conduct, or related areas is preferred. The ability to communicate in multiple languages is helpful.
