COMPENSATION: $64,080 - $80,105 based on directly related experience.

Position Description & Details


 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Director to lead the BSC RADaR (Department of Labor Grant) Project, focused on meeting the objectives outlined by the US Department of Labor (DOL) Strengthening Community College grant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing strategies to create, expand, and strengthen apprenticeship programming in the manufacturing and healthcare industries.

  • Leadership and Supervision:
    • Lead the BSC RADaR Data Coordinator and RADaR Career Coach through supervision, training, and evaluation.
    • Direct grant activities to ensure deliverables are accomplished within established timelines.
  • Grant Management:
    • Develop a comprehensive project timeline with proposed activities, outcomes, and deadlines.
    • Ensure compliance with all grant requirements, rules, and regulations.
    • Manage the BSC RADaR (DOL Grant) budget, monitoring and verifying grant fund expenditures.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and departments to meet grant objectives.
    • Facilitate meetings with businesses, industry groups, and partners to explore and incubate new apprenticeship opportunities.
    • Establish a memorandum of understanding and partner agreements to meet apprenticeship training program needs.
  • Advisory Committee Oversight:
    • Establish and provide oversight of the BSC RADaR (DOL Grant) Advisory Committee.
    • Facilitate regular communication between all parties involved in the grant.

Minimum Requirements

 
  • Appropriate bachelor's degree with one year of directly related experience in grant management, apprenticeship programming, and/or workforce development.
  • Ability to effectively plan, manage, and oversee grant activities and funds.
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, take initiative, and work independently with limited supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Ability to influence and establish credibility with others.
  • Ability to establish collaborative endeavors, relationships, and alliances.
  • Excellent computer software skills (Microsoft Office Suite-Word, Excel, etc., email and electronic calendar) and familiarity with the Internet.
