THE JOB

You are responsible for identifying, acquiring and growing new business on your campus and within your network. Focusing on event specific and high value opportunities, you will be calling, emailing, and using social media to engage prospective clientele in these two main opportunity areas. You will target fraternities, sororities, and other student groups that have a need for custom apparel and merchandise. Plus you can work with leaders of other organizations such as high school activities you were involved with, previous and current employers, connections via family members, etc. The world is your oyster when it comes to possible sales in this role.

 


THE COMPANY

College Hill Custom Threads is a custom apparel and promotional products company that was born in and continues to operate within the collegiate industry. Specifically, our company caters directly to the intricate needs of student-led organizations and the Greek Community. College Hill has done business on over 400 campuses in all 50 states across the country.

 


RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties completed by successful Campus Reps include the following but are not limited to:

 

 

  • Create long term goals for your campus; including sales and market share that focus on growth and new business
  • Development and expansion of collegiate sales program on your campus
  • Communicate with Collegiate Sales Manager weekly
  • Networking to prospective clients
  • Outbound and warm calling to manage and grow current accounts
  • Manage orders and accounts at your campus
  • Learn campus demographics
  • Discover market competition
  • Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies specific to campus events

 

 

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

 

 

  • Fraternity or Sorority affiliation and understanding of campus culture
  • Leadership positions in student organizations
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work on a team and communicate efficiently with your peers
  • Ability to outline and achieve goals on a daily/weekly/monthly basis both individually and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
  • Persuasive personality, competitive nature, consistent work ethic, time management skills, and self-motivation
