Elma Early Childhood Center (EECC) is a non-profit daycare that is looking for a fun and energetic full time Director who are passionate about helping children learn and grow.

Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred or equivalent degree in a related field along with at least 1 year of childcare experience. Must successfully complete criminal and child abuse background check and register fingerprints with appropriate licensing entity. Before starting, must be able to have the approved amount of points assigned by DHS.

Job Summary:

• Ensure a safe, happy, and stimulating environment for children.
• Manage and coordinate curricula with staff that complies with state and federal requirements.
• Oversees EECC budget and finances.
• Be in a room for ratio when needed
• Keep financial records, pay bills, and collect fees.
• Ensure that center facilities are safe for children and comply with laws and regulations.
• Evaluate and purchase materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Manage and support teaching staff and promote their professional development.
• Interview, hire, and train new staff members, ensuring they meet all policies and legal requirements.
• Complete ongoing training and courses to remain up to date on daycare standards and procedures.
• Communicate and meet with parents regarding their children and the center’s policies
• Develop and facilitate a marketing and communications plan.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
