| Position Highlights | The Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering (AME) Department at the University of Arizona is seeking a qualified post-doctoral candidate in computational mechanics, under the direct supervision of Dr. Kavan Hazeli. The research project will develop an understanding of high-temperature additively manufactured materials behavior and deformation mechanisms under high temperature, multiaxial loading, and a combination of both. Ideal candidates will have knowledge and experience in experimental mechanics methods, testing materials at elevated temperatures, and microscopic techniques and texture analysis.
