The Mechanical Contractors Association of Eastern Missouri is an organization of union mechanical contractors that empowers members through education, training, information and labor-management relations.

We have an amazing opportunity for a Programs, Education and Workforce Readiness Director! This role provides significant strategic impact to the mechanical contractor industry. Some areas of responsibility include:

  • Developing a strategic approach to educational offerings that elevate culture, achieve positive results, and add value for member companies;
  • Planning, managing, and coordinating programs, including those for education, safety, and service for members;
  • Researching and reviewing new and existing course content to ensure it meets members’ development needs;
  • Attending affiliate alliance meetings and coordinating shared educational offerings;
  • Collaborating with the Director of Member Engagement to communicate educational, safety, service and other opportunities to members across a variety of platforms;
  • Developing and executing strategic initiatives to support workforce development for the industry;
  • Collaborating with committees and other relevant stakeholders.

Qualified candidates will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a similar association role
  • 5+ years of education program design experience;
  • 2+ years of experience in association management or other non-profit organizations;

We offer a strong team environment with a competitive compensation and benefits package. This includes:

  • Base salary of $70,000 - $80,000
  • 100% coverage of employee health, dental and vision premiums
  • 50% coverage of dependent health, dental and vision premiums
  • 15 days of PTO
  • Paid holidays
  • 10% employer contribution to the SEP IRA plan

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
