President and CEO

YMCA

Job Description

The Fayette County Family YMCA is an equal opportunity employer committed to valuing diversity and practicing inclusion.
Job Description

The Fayette County Family YMCA has a commitment to creating a culture of safety.

The Opportunity

The Fayette County Family YMCA became an independent YMCA in 2002 and Fayette County celebrated the opening of its new facility in October 2007. By 2019, $4 million of debt to fund the new facility was retired. In March 2020, the facility was expanded to include a fully equipped Wellness Center, a second gymnasium with batting cage, and multi-purpose room. This expansion opened debt-free due to a single $1 million contribution.

The Fayette County YMCA is a financially sound, stable organization led by strong and committed volunteers and backed with strong philanthropic support. The addition of a new Honda/LG multi-million-dollar battery plant and opportunities for expanded community partnerships provide a great foundation for the next CEO to grow community impact and membership. A 21-acre outdoor athletic space complete with a shelter house, restrooms and concession stand provide a significant opportunity for growth. The YMCA’s alliance with Dayton area YMCAs also serves as a tremendous resource for the CEO.

To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.

Our Vision

To strengthen the foundations of our community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

Position Description

The YMCA is seeking an energetic and outgoing leader ready to embrace a unified vision and commitment to be a resource for all in the community.
