Clinical Supervisor* – *Beaverton Outpatient

Salary Range: $72,800 - $78,200/year ($35.01-$37.63/hour)

In Person, Full Time

Seeking licensed mental health professional with experience providing mental health care to_ children and families._

Morrison Child and Family Services is a non-profit organization providing a continuum of trauma-informed, culturally responsive programs and services for youth and families in residential, shelter, respite, foster care, community & school-based outpatient, family preservation, and prevention services. As one of the largest mental health and substance use recovery agencies serving 7,000 youth in Portland, Oregon, and the state of Washington, our goal is to promote a vibrant culture of self-care, creativity, and overall resilience that contribute to the success of our youth and families.

Program: Outpatient Services
Morrison Child and Family Services delivers outpatient mental health services to children, ages 2 through 18. At the core of our work is a belief in the importance of acknowledging strengths and creating resilience in each child. Our skilled therapists collaborate with each child and their support system to identify a treatment approach that addresses the child’s mental health symptoms and leads to improved functioning in all areas of the child’s life. We strive to provide culturally responsive services and respect the values and unique perspectives of all our clients.

The Clinical Supervisor provides_ clinical administration and management to our mental health services program for children and their families; clinical supervision of mental health therapists and skills trainers. This position _assists_ the Clinical Manager with the intake process and case assignments, _provides_ direct clinical services to clients, and _provides_ consultation on all administrative and clinical aspects of mental health services_.

  • Implements short-term and long-term goals and program objectives, deciding how to best use resources to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Imparts knowledge, skills, and attitudes associated with professionalism and models appropriate behavior for addressing errors and engages supervisee in a two-way discussion.
  • Ensures completion of all clinical documentation in accordance with state, federal and organizational requirements, with an emphasis on collaborative documentation.
  • Engages supervisee in discussions of ethical and legal decision-making and professional values.

 

Experience/Education Requirements

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field
  • Current Oregon licensed mental health professional or a current professional mental health license in another state with the ability to obtain Oregon licensure within 6 months of employment
  • Three years of experience working with children/adolescents in a mental health setting

Other Requirements:

  • May require evening work or hours in excess of routine schedule in order to ensure optimal program operations and service delivery
  • Able to pass a comprehensive criminal history background investigation
  • Must pass language testing if applicable

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with staff and clients accurately and effectively.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50-75% of the time.
