Radiologic Technology Clinical Instructor (Contract)

 


RESPONSIBILITIES:
 In collaboration with the Program Director and Clinical Coordinator, the successful applicant will spend much of their time at the thirteen (13) clinical affiliation sites assisting students in the performance of radiographic examinations and completing student evaluations. When necessary, the adjunct faculty will collaborate and assist in an assigned didactic course at the discretion of the Program Director. The individual will instruct, evaluate, teach, provide feedback, and advise students; participate in the assessment and accreditation process; participate in periodic review and revision of course materials; act as a liaison between the clinical sites and the college and will be expected to communicate with program faculty to facilitate continuous student and program development.

 


QUALIFICATIONS: 
This position requires a minimum of two years of recent experience as a radiographer, current ARRT certification in radiography and ME license. The successful applicant must be knowledgeable of instruction, evaluation, and advising/feedback. Demonstrated leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills in directing students is essential. The individual must maintain current knowledge, expertise, and competence of the radiographic profession.

 
SALARY: 
Hourly Contract
