Job Description

 

Lorain County Community College is looking for an Adjunct Instructor to teach Humanities. Applicants whose work incorporates a global perspective and a demonstrated commitment to student success are highly desired. Workload includes lecture preparation, grading student assignments, attendance reports, midterm/final grades, utilizing Canvas for gradebook, and attendance at Adjunct Faculty Convocation. Offerings may include days, evenings, and/or online sections. Location may vary from the main campus, Outreach Learning Centers in Wellington, Lorain, and North Ridgeville; and/or delivered remotely.

 
 
 

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications: Master's degree in the discipline of Humanities and previous teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Background with Rhetoric/Composition and familiarity with the mission of the community college.
