OVERVIEW:

The Department of Marketing in the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas (Twin Cities, Minnesota) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor, Department of Marketing. Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in marketing, maintain an active research agenda in area of expertise, and provide service to the Department, College and University. Courses taught may include, but are not limited to: MKTG 200 - Introduction to Marketing; MKTG 330 - International Marketing; MKTG 390 - Marketing Strategy; MKTG 430 - Marketing Management; BUID 650 - Modern Business Mindset. This is a full-time position with the University of St. Thomas in the Department of Marketing in the Opus College of Business in the Twin Cities Metro Area (St. Paul – Minneapolis - Bloomington) Minnesota. EOE.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Requirements:
 

A Ph.D. (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Marketing, Business-Marketing, or a closely related field. The successful candidate will demonstrate ability and commitment to excellence in teaching and the ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in marketing, and posses a strong research agenda with potential to publish high quality research in peer-reviewed journals. The ideal candidate will have teaching and research interests that complement department and college needs and priorities, including but not limited to marketing analytics and/or digital marketing. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to providing leadership (in teaching, research, and/or service) toward building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment. ABD close to completion considered academically qualified faculty as per AACSB accreditation requirements. ABD close to completion considered at rank of instructor.
