Posting Summary
Rutgers School of Health Professions is seeking part-time Research Assistants (3 vacancies) for the Department of Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Counseling Professions. The Research Assistant will assist faculty member in the conduct of original empirical research.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
  • Responsible for providing research activities support to faculty mentor.
  • Schedules appointments with participants and secures informed consent for participant study participation.
  • Conducts data collection & tele health research.
  • Prepares computer entry, checking, and tracking of data.
  • Presents at State or national scholarly or professional meetings.
  • Assists in statistical analysis.
  • Understands and adheres to Rutgers’ compliance standards as they appear in RBHS’s Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.
  • Performs other duties as assigned,

Minimum Education and Experience
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Sufficient keyboard and spreadsheet skills to work with widely used programs such as Excel, SPSS, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a mental health related field and current enrollment in psychology, psychiatric rehabilitation, rehabilitation counseling and social work graduate program.
  • Research experience.

Immunization Requirements
