Position Summary

A full‐time, 9 month tenure track Assistant Professor with a 60% research, 35% teaching and 5% service assignment.  Will develop a robust, collaborative, federally funded research program that focuses on nutritional influences on gastrointestinal health of pigs and other animals. Advising graduate students, publishing in high‐tier peer‐reviewed journals, and collaborating to achieve intentional societal impacts is expected.  Has academic training and expertise in the nutrition of swine and also companion animals, as well as practical knowledge as related to production and growth. They must be able to effectively instruct and provide a high‐quality instructional experience for undergraduate and graduate students in the department. Annually, they will teach ANS 413 Non‐Ruminant Nutrition (4 credits) and another 3‐credit course which may focus upon comparative nutrition, metabolism, and health.
