Description:

The Director of Community Services will play a pivotal role in the agency's program management team by overseeing and enhancing the community service and disaster relief efforts for Catholic Charities of Central and Northern Missouri. This leadership position is responsible for strategic program direction that upholds the mission and integrity of Catholic Charities and ensures delivery of excellent community support services through grant monitoring and compliance, staff training and formation, and stakeholder engagement.

• Will oversee strategic planning and program management as it pertains to developing annual budgets and determining staffing needs
• Ensures submission of grant requests, financial reports, data tracking and monitors grant/budget compliance
• Ensures that community services staff receive orientation, training and ongoing supervision
• Serves as a liaison and maintains positive working relationships with agency leadership, program staff, local and regional service partners, and regional and national agencies to ensure provision of quality services for clients

Requirements:

This individual must possess a strong commitment to the mission of CCCNMO, including the understanding of Catholic Social Teaching and ability to demonstrate the philosophy and values of the agency. The identity of the agency is clearly Catholic; and as such, Catholic Charities adheres to the social and moral teachings of the Catholic Church.

Advanced degree from an accredited college or university plus 3 to 5 years' experience in management and delivery of social and/or disaster relief services and programs at a leadership level is required.

Utilizes common software and digital applications (Microsoft Office suite, Outlook, Teams, timekeeping, etc.)
