What We Are Looking For:
The post-doctoral position will assist with research on smartphone technology usage, prospective memory functioning, and Alzheimer’s disease in Michael Scullin's laboratory at Baylor University.  This position involves a significant amount of patient-facing time for study participant recruitment and conduction of research visits. The post-doc will be also be involved in grant organization and reporting, community outreach, data analysis, and data presentation/dissemination, and will collaborate with clinical scientists at UT Austin Dell Medical School and Baylor Scott & White Healthcare.


Required:
•   A doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) is required in either psychology, rehabilitation, speech and language sciences, or related disciplines. 
•   Candidates must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
•   Patience and the ability to work with individuals at various ages and ability levels is required.
•   Fluency in speaking Spanish may be additive to the position but is not required.  

Travel between study sites (40 min drive) is required as is a valid Driver’s License

What You Will Do:

Duties include:
•   Study preparation
•   Data collection
•   Data entry and organization
•   Data analysis and dissemination
•   Manage the lab environment
•   Provide sponsor documentation and reporting organization
•   Community based recruitment 
•   Driving to various study collection and recruitment sites in central Texas
•   Coordinate other laboratory personnel
•   Provide assistance with the preparation of project-related reports, manuscripts and presentations
•   Develop and implement research quality control procedures
•   Work with highly technical and complex research instruments
•   Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
•   Ability to comply with University policies
•   Maintain regular and punctual attendance
Travel between study sites (40 min drive) is required as is a valid Texas Driver's License.
