Department Summary:
Bridgewater State Universitys Accounting and Finance Department invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor of Finance, beginning September 2024. Our mission is to prepare students for professional careers and/or graduate studies through high quality education. Essential Duties:
The primary responsibilities of this position are to teach upper and lower level courses in Finance with the possibility of teaching select Accounting courses and graduate courses. The successful candidate will also participate in student advising, department committees, and in the continued development of the graduate and undergraduate curriculum.

Required Qualifications:
A doctoral degree from a regionally accredited doctoral program in Finance by September 1, 2024 is required.

College-level teaching experience is required.

Familiarity with finance technology applications is required.

They should have an ability to use technology effectively in teaching and learning, to work collaboratively, to show evidence of scholarly activity and to have a commitment to public higher education.

Preferred Qualifications:
Chartered Financial Analyst or compatible professional designation is preferred.

Related professional work experience is preferred.
