Create, monitor and implement an annual giving campaign for the Masonic Home for Children in Oxford, NC (MHCO). The MHCO is the oldest private non-profit in North Carolina and has served children, youth, and young adults and their families for nearly 150 years.

Duties include:

  1. Works in collaboration with the Donor Relations Coordinator and with the NC Masonic Foundation’s (NCMF) statewide coordination of fundraising efforts across the masonic charities.

  2. Collaborates with MHCO staff to increase annual giving, recurring gifts, online giving and in-kind gifts of items, services, and skills. Meets regularly with the MHCO Financial Development Team to plan, coordinate, and report actions.

  3. Provides personal, ongoing contact with donors utilizing the Raiser’s Edge database, with the goal of increasing recurring giving, the number of donors, and the monthly commitment for existing recurring gifts.

  4. Identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards new MHCO donors through various solicitation methods including email, presentations, webinars, and direct contacts.

  5. Consults with MHCO staff to determine appropriate methods of communication for the annual giving plan, utilizing various and latest forms of communication.

  6. Manages donor stewardship at MHCO to retain current donors and to increase their level of giving.

  7. Coordinates with MHCO staff to schedule, plan, and implement donor and potential donor visits to MHCO’s campus.

  8. Identifies and shares information concerning donors with high capacity for major and planned gifts to NCMF staff.

  9. Reports progress quarterly to the MHCO and NCMF boards of directors.

  10. Meets monthly with NCMF development team to coordinate fundraising plans and activities.
