Position Summary
The University of North Texas at Dallas (UNT Dallas) invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Business (Management) position starting in fall 2024 . Individuals with research and teaching interests in strategy, entrepreneurship, and/or hospitality are especially encouraged to apply. UNT Dallas – is the only public four-year university exclusively in the City of Dallas. The appointment will be as an entry level tenure-track Assistant Professor or as a tenure-track Associate Professor depending on prior experience.
To be eligible for appointment as Associate Professor the candidate must have at least 5 years prior experience directing an academic success.

Minimum Qualifications
  • An earned doctoral degree in management. ABD candidates may be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching university-level courses in management.
  • Evidence of ability to produce quality scholarship in management-related areas.
  • Evidence of ability to contribute to the positive culture of our school, university and community.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching to MBA and undergraduate students,
  • Applied research related to one or more of the following areas: strategy, entrepreneurship, hospitality.
  • Experience using technology in teaching and experience teaching in multiple modalities (i.e., hybrid, online, and on-ground courses).
  • Academic experience working on a campus with culturally diverse students, staff, and faculty.
  • Candidates with interest in possible School-level leadership, such as Assistant Dean, should indicate this in their application materials.
