Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Business Information Systems

Job Description

The College of Business at Lehigh University invites applications for the position of tenure-track Assistant Professor in Business Information Systems in the Department of Decision and Technology Analytics (DATA), starting in Fall 2024. All candidates must have a Ph.D. in Information Systems (IS) or a related area no later than December 31, 2024. The selected candidate will be expected to publish in top IS journals. The selected candidate will also be expected to teach IS and analytics courses at the undergraduate and graduate level.

The DATA department has nine tenured or tenure-track faculty members and four teaching-track professors in IS and supply chain management (SCM). The successful candidate will be joining faculty in the department who publish in top-ranked journals in both IS and SCM fields. The department offers majors and minors in business information systems, supply chain management, and business analytics, as well as a certificate in business analytics (jointly with the Department of Marketing), all of which have been fast growing. The department also supports numerous undergraduate core courses and graduate programs (e.g., MBA and MS in Business Analytics), and the Center for Supply Chain Research at Lehigh, which fosters industry support and research on supply chain management.
