Nursing Faculty – Positions (F0114)
Job Description
Our college is seeking qualified individuals who enjoy teaching a variety of nursing (within NA, LPN, and/or RN programs) in face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online formats. Full-time teaching responsibilities include teaching the equivalent of 15 credit hours per semester, engaging students in the learning process, clinical supervision of students, course and curriculum development, student advising, and accurate maintenance of student files. Full-time faculty members fully participate in nursing program development and evaluation, college activities and committees, and represent Tyler at community events and professional opportunities.
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing required by the start date.
- Must have several years of experience in medical surgical and/or pediatric nursing
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, ability to teach a combination of day, evening, weekend, hybrid, and/or online classes, and flexible to work at any of the College’s locations.
- Successful completion and passing of a criminal background check.
