The Criminal Justice Program is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time position at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will be able to teach courses in one or more of the following areas: introductory criminal justice (policing, corrections, and court systems/law), ethics in the criminal justice system, intelligence/crime analysis, and advanced topics and research in the undergraduate program; there is a potential for teaching in the graduate program as well. Full-time faculty appointments are for a ten-month contract period and the normal teaching load is twelve credit hours per semester. Student advisement and participation on college committees are required.
Requirements/Qualifications: Master’s degree in Criminal Justice or related field required, Ph.D. is preferred; practical experience and prior teaching experience is preferred.
