Carnegie Mellon University’s department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is searching for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by performing cutting edge research in the field of Hardware Security by combining elements of circuit obfuscation, reverse engineering, and chip design and such other tasks as assigned to you.

 

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting and analyzing data, including periodical/literature search, and utilizing specialized skills in related field to analyze the collected data.

  • Conducting research experiments within the predetermined research scope and methodology of department and university.

  • Lab maintenance, including equipment maintenance and ordering of supplies.

  • Participating in manuscript writing for publication in scientific journals and/or presentations. May also assist in grant writing.

  • Other duties as assigned.

You should demonstrate:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

 

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree required.

  • 3-5 years of research experience
