Role: Review Analyst I

Essential Duties include:

  • Basic Case Analysis - efficiently reviews and approves (ABI, NG, Exome, etc.) results that are initially clear cut, according to standard procedures. Provides clear and error-free transcription of findings for report writers. Enters new variants to the corresponding database. Interacts with TMs and GCs effectively. Contributes to ongoing process improvement.

  • VOUS and Novel Case Analysis - efficiently reviews and interprets (ABI, NG, Exome, etc.) results that require investigation. Interacts with gene experts effectively. Provides clear, concise findings for report writers.

  • Consultations - trains and advises other review analysts. Contributes to 'review group' requests for guidance or early analysis.

  • Signing - assists as needed with signing final reports along with appropriate co-signers, in a careful and timely manner. Maintains knowledge of LIMS and report routing.

  • R&D Analysis - Assists R&D with test development by evaluating new gene quality in a timely manner.

  • Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications include:

  • PhD degree in medical technology, or related field

  • 1+ years of relevant work experience
