Program Assistant – Franklin Office

Pay Rate: $17.17 -21.17

Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based behavioral health services in Concord and Franklin, New Hampshire, is seeking a full-time Program Assistant to work in an adult outpatient program.

 

As a Program Assistant, you will be a member of an administrative team of support staff who work with clinical staff and clients in a variety of capacities. We’re looking for a team player with a warm and welcoming presence that has excellent computer skills, strong customer service, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The position offers a great diversity in duties and the ability to grow within the position and the overall organization.

 

Responsibilities

  • Verifying client insurance coverage and conducting client account research
  • Conducting orientation and fee agreement appointments with clients and families
  • Reconciliation research and tracking status of accounts and benefit coverage information
  • Collaborating with and supporting clinical and administrative staff to ensure quality service provision
  • Reporting and tracking of documents due, account status, and other data points
  • Completing client registration, check-in and scheduling related tasks
  • Call management and appointment reminder responsibilities
  • Conducting team-based coverage, and other tasks and projects as needed

 

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Two years’ experience in diversified office work is preferred.
  • Experience with health insurance benefit verification preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with attention to detail is required.
