Health Professions Program Coordinator
Job Description
12 Month Contract Full-time Position
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Health Professions Program Coordinator will both coordinate and instruct in the Health
Professions program for the College. The Program Coordinator will coordinate all aspects of
the Health Professions program, including documentation and reports for State agencies. The
Program Coordinator will teach up to 24 credit hours of classes each academic year. The
position is responsible for student recruitment and advising, program development and
division participation, committee and task force service, and individual professional
development.
QUALIFICATIONS: License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kansas and have no pending or current disciplinary actions against that individual’s license; and a minimum of 2 years of full-time licensed nursing experience (RN or LPN). Experience in college teaching is preferred.
LOCATION: Iola, Kansas campus location. On-campus office hours are required of the position.
SALARY: Dependent on education and experience. An excellent benefits package is available.
STARTING DATE: Position is open until filled.
