The El Camino Community College District is seeking a clinical psychologist to provide psychological services to students for the purpose of resolving problems that interfere with personal and academic success. The position will include working with students with disabilities that are registered with the Special Resource Center
Under the general direction of the Director of the Special Resource Center, the clinical psychologist will provide personal short-term and crisis intervention services through direct contact with students individually and in groups.
Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in clinical psychology or counseling psychology.
Must possess a valid California State license as a psychologist issued by the California State Board of Psychology by start date of position.
Evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse, academic socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
Experience working in a diverse setting.
Experience working with student popluation.
College Student Health Services experience.
Knowlege of Mental Health Community Resources for uninsures students.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Part-time assignment(s) for the 2020 spring semester, beginning February 15, 2020. Hours worked will be compensated at an hourly rate as defined in Appendix D-3, Special Rate of Pay $69.28, of the Agreement between El Camino Community College District and the El Camino College Federation of Teachers.
