Kent State University at Stark seeks applicants for a full-time non-tenure-track, nine-month, faculty position as a Lecturer/Assistant Professor of Mathematics beginning in Fall 2020.
Examples of Duties:
Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Full-time non-tenure-track faculty teach 15 credit hours per semester. Although research activity is encouraged and supported, it is not required. The successful candidate will teach the Ohio Transfer Module courses in Quantitative Reasoning and Introductory Statistics, as well as other lower-division mathematics courses. A willingness to employ teaching modalities beyond in-person lecture is required and relevant prior experience will be welcomed. The successful candidate may also be asked to teach some classes online and applications should mention experience in that realm.
A Master's in Mathematics a minimum; Ph.D. preferred. Evidence of teaching excellence is required.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally.
