Position Summary
THIS IS A TIME-LIMITED POSITION WITH AN ESTIMATED DURATION OF 2 YEARS.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide organizational and technical support to the PI and lab personnel. Responsibilities will include keeping track of reagents and sample inventories, as we well as ordering lab supplies.
Additional duties include daily lab maintenance.
She/he will be involved in the processing of human and nonhuman primate samples. The successful candidate will also be trained in molecular techniques and certain immune assays to assist the PI, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students in their specific research projects.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Must have experience working in a biological sciences lab. Experience with human and nonhuman primate sample processing, excellent communication skills and must be organized and able to follow the lab protocol.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Prefer undergraduate experience in biological sciences.
