Concord Retreat Center seeks an outstanding Center Director to work with its board, staff and community to further its Christ-based vision and expand its markets, increase revenue, and produce sustainable growth in accordance with such vision of bringing everyone into God's presence in the serene natural setting of the retreat grounds
The Center Director (CD) will be expected to focus on increasing occupancy and revenue, while assuring the quality of service is in accordance with the Center's vision and reflects a spirit of Christ-oriented mission work by providing a natural sanctuary where quiet time, connection with God, and transformation is possible.
The CD will be expected to provide operational leadership to the staff to ensure service excellence, proper facility maintenance, and efficient operations. The CD will also be expected to oversee all accounting and financial reporting, personnel management, and regulatory and legal compliance.
The CD will also be expected to conduct high quality communications that reflect the Center's unique identity, and cultivates positive relationships with individuals and groups within the target markets regionally and nationally.
The ideal candidate will have a heart for ministry and a passion for helping others grow in their walk with the Christ and have a proven track record of leadership, financial management, sales, business development and marketing. Experience in the camp/retreat or other industry that provides support to the development and needs of individuals and groups, is highly desired. The CD will be action-oriented, entrepreneurial and adaptable. A bachelor's degree in an appropriate field and at few years of progressive management experience is preferred.
