JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

With all aspects of Guided Pathways, and as part of the College's Title III "Pathways to the Future" 5-year grant project, the Guided Pathways Director will be responsible for planning, development and implementation of the academics of the grant program with the assistance of academic division deans. The Guided Pathways Director will serve as Activity Director for the grant and as curriculum director for the college.
 
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, implement, and supervise Guided Pathways as related to curriculum and course alignment working in collaboration with academic division deans and department chairs.

  • Serve as Activity Director of the Title III Grant and as Chair of the Title III Task Force Committee during the 5-year cycle of the Guided Pathways grant project.

  • Plan, develop, and implement First Year Experience for all new First Time Freshmen and transfers ensuring curriculum development adheres to grant intentions and goals.

  • Establish timeline and training for FYE instructors, developing syllabus and desired course competencies.

  • Work closely with division deans and department chairs to research, plan, establish high impact practices in courses, and work individually with instructors, Provide professional internal training and seminars for faculty to obtain goals.

  • Assist the HUB Director while aligning FYE and student advisement to the Guided Pathways grant project.

 

MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Master's degree in higher education or a directly related field and two years of experience in curriculum management or development.
