The Chemistry Department invites applications from highly motivated individuals with knowledge and skills in both experimental and computational chemistries with focus on fluorine chemistry. Laboratory skills on air-free chemistry (Schlenk line and glovebox) operation and problem solving are needed for highly oxygen- and water-sensitive experiments. Excellent communication skill is a plus. In addition to his/her assigned research project(s), the person on this position is also expected to assist the PI in new project development and training new students as needed.
Minimum requirement PhD in Chemistry.
This position is grant funded. The incoming postdoc will work under the direct supervision of Dr. Haoran Sun.
