POSITION: ADMINISTRATIVE DEAN OF INSTRUCTION AND STUDENT SERVICES-BIG
SPRING/LAMESA #127

EXPERIENCE AND OTHER
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Master’s degree and hours or credentials above the Masters required.
Fifteen (15) years related experience preferred in creative leadership,
strategic planning, advancement of strong interpersonal working
relationships and conflict resolution, preferably in the community college
sector but acceptable in another educational setting. Demonstrated
success in student and instructional development as part of guided
pathways to the workplace; student services and teaching; athletics and
campus operations; leadership with emphasis on collaboration; experience
in planning and project management.
DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES: Must understand the role of the community college in a rural-serving area
and correctional setting; collaborations with school districts, regional
universities, community/governmental organizations and business/industry
to advance the area. Proven record in the use of quantitative and
qualitative data to produce positive student success outcomes. Working
knowledge of athletic and residential hall programs. For a complete list of

SALARY RANGE: $88,749 - $93,134
