Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Disability Services, the Office Manager oversees support services for students with disabilities, manages accommodation needs,
supervises part-time and student employees, and handles administrative operations of the office.

Occasional weekend and extended hours working may be required.

 

Essential Functions

  • Oversees graduate student interns and part-time staff, including academic coaches, to deliver personalized support to registered students.
  • Coordinates and approves student accommodation requests, including exam requests.
  • Coordinates implementation of accommodations for classroom assignments, classroom furniture, and other needs in collaboration with Enrollment Services, Facilities, or other offices.
  • Coordinates implementation of classroom accommodations by collaborating with faculty, overseeing note-taking support, distributing Glean materials and licenses to students, and organizing peer note-taker assignments.
  • Maintains the AIM accommodation request database and ensure accurate website content and forms.
  • Supervises student workers, facilitating their contributions to administrative tasks, scheduling, and reception.
  • Manages office supply orders and assists in creating brochure and newsletter.
  • Handles billing processes and streamlines external service coordination, including Bookshare accounts.
  • Manages calendar scheduling for the Director, Associate Directors and Assistant Director of Disability Services .

Additional Functions

  • Prepares presentations, reports, and surveys
  • Supports testing administrator in approving, scheduling, and proctoring exams
  • Completes all graduate testing forms: MCAT, LSAT etc.
  • Regularly updates all website pages with accurate information, updates all relevant forms to the website, adding new sections to the website as
    needed with provided information.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of professional office management in student personnel, higher education administration or organizational development
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Google Drive, PowerPoint and Gmail
  • Strong communication,and customer relations skills
  • Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to the goals of Jesuit Education.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of AIM, Glean and Terminal 4, or similar software

 

Minimum Starting Salary: $60,000

Maximum Starting Salary: $62,000

Note: Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
