Assistant Professor of Business Administration
The School of Business of North Carolina Wesleyan College is seeking applications for an Assistant Professor of Business Administration beginning in August, 2020. The successful applicant will be experienced with both online and face-to-face, traditional, and adult learning environments. Responsibilities may include, but not limited to, teaching a variety of courses in business administration with a focus on business management courses, advising students; promoting program growth and academic quality; supervising student interns, and serving on internal committees. Faculty are expected to engage students through the use of both traditional and innovative instructional strategies.
Qualifications: An earned doctoral degree in Business Administration from a regionally accredited institution is required. ABD candidates will be considered but must have obtained the doctoral degree by August 2020. Previous college-level teaching experience is strongly preferred.
North Carolina Wesleyan College is located in Rocky Mount, which is in the eastern, coastal plain region of the state. The college is a teaching focused institution with approximately 2,000 students, including adult degree students in the Aspire Program.
