Responsibilities

Jefferson College is seeking a highly qualified individual as Director of Institutional Research, serving as primary resource for institutional research and reports. Responsible for design, data collection, analysis and production of institutional research to provide valid and reliable information to support informed decision-making by the College. Prepares and submits state and federally mandated data and reports and creates and maintains dashboards and reporting tools. This position reports to the President Elect and works very closely with other personnel and committees to facilitate group processes, furnish data, and conduct research related to strategic and master plan development; accountability initiatives; academic and institutional policy development; enrollment management; internal reports and surveys; institutional and programmatic accreditation; and other emergent research needs.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in applied mathematics, computer science, or related field. Minimum three years related experience or a combination of education and experience to achieve functions of the position. Experience in planning/project management, data analysis, and report writing required. Experience with college database system (Ellucian’s Banner) preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including both verbal and written, and attention to detail and accuracy is imperative.
