Are you an aspiring Actuarial Associate looking for a remote position within a reputable healthcare organization? Look no further, a nationally ranked healthcare system is looking for their next Lead Actuarial associate to join one of their acute care facilities in the San Francisco Bay area.

The next Lead Actuarial Associate candidate must reside within the States that the healthcare system has a presence in, which include California, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Oregon, and Virginia. This individual contributor is primarily responsible for researching and determining the likelihood of financial risk to the organization, developing and designing actuarial documentation, conducting product line evaluation and actuarial modeling, and assessing and interpreting financial risk and opportunity analyses.

The Lead Actuarial Associate will be joining a facility that houses over 300 licensed beds. They will be a part of a large healthcare network, a teaching institution that services the northern California region as a leader in acute, medical and surgical care. The non profit organization has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for quality and patient safety. The state of the art, award winning facility provides quality care to each patient through selective innovative medical practices supported through top of the line medical technology and equipment.

The position is a flexible remote opportunity that Practices self-development and promotes learning in others by proactively providing information, resources, advice, and expertise with coworkers and customers; building relationships with cross-functional stakeholders; influencing others through technical explanations. Develops and designs actuarial documentation by completing the actuarial portion of financial reports and tax returns; and responses to insurance regulations.

The role requires previous Actuarial experience for an extended period of time along with an Associate of the Society of Actuaries Certificate OR Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society Certificate.
