Responsibilities: The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will conduct original research in the electrochemistry of 2D materials and van der Waals heterostructures. The selected candidate will prepare 2D materials samples and use advanced electrochemical techniques to investigate their interfacial photo(electro)catalytic properties. The Postdoctoral Researcher will plan, develop, and maintain procedures to ensure the completion of the project. Other required responsibilities include mentoring graduate/undergraduate students in their research, contributing to publications, proposals, and presentations, and assisting the general management of the lab. This Postdoctoral position is funded for one year with the possibility for extension. The Postdoctoral Researcher will report directly to Dr. Yun Yu and have the opportunity to interact with other scientists in the College of Science and the Mason community.
