Assistant Scientist - RNA biochemist, mammalian geneticist and neuromuscular disease

Generate and characterize new humanized models for myotonic dystrophy type 1 (DM1)
RNA analysis (RNAseq, CLIPseq, RT-PCR, RT-qPCR, Northerns)
Genomic DNA analysis (Southerns, HCR-FISH, Bionano)
Protein analysis (westerns, immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation)
CRISPR/Cas genomic modifications
Manuscript preparation and submission

Annual salary range is $60,000 - $63,500 and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Ph.D.

PhD in Biochemistry with at least 3 years postdoctoral experience.

This is a time-limited position.
