POSITION PURPOSE
The Institute for Nuclear Theory (INT) has an outstanding opportunity for a Program Coordinator. The INT is the U.S. Department of Energy’s national center for nuclear theory which sponsors programs and workshops throughout the year, attended by over 400 visitors annually from around the world.  The INT also administers the Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program in physics and the National Nuclear Physics Summer School (NNPSS).  It is a dynamic environment that includes a local group of senior faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students.  Most importantly, in addition to providing general assistance to the local group, the program coordinator is the first point of contact for visiting physicists arriving at the INT and will be their primary source of help during their stay.  The program coordinator also serves as the INT webmaster.  The position involves teamwork with the INT Administrator and two Administrative Specialists who manage the programs and workshops.
