The Singhvi Lab aims to understand molecular mechanisms by which glia, which are about half the cells in the nervous system, impact sensory perception, neuron shape and physiology, neural circuit activity, and animal behavior. Responsibilities

The Post-Doctoral Research Fellow works independently and under the direction of the Principal Investigator, Dr. Singhvi. Responsibilities for this Post-Doctoral Research Fellow will include designing, performing, and analyzing experiments, troubleshooting technical issues, and mentoring junior lab members. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the preparation of manuscripts and grant proposals.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• PhD in neuroscience or related field
• Prior laboratory experience with publication track record
• elegans experience preferred
• Super-resolution imaging experience preferred
• Transporter and/or cilia biology experience preferred

The annual base salary range for this position is from $65,484 to $100,000 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
