Position Title: Health Program Manager II
Location: This position is located in Carson City, Nevada and will be working part time in the office and part time telecommuting for the foreseeable future.
Position End Date: 09/29/2023
Salary: $70,158.40
 

Overview:
 

The CDC Foundation is seeking a full-time, 40 hours per week, Health Program Manager II to support The Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health (DPBH), State Opioid Response Section..
 

Qualifications:
 

  • Detailed knowledge of healthcare systems
  • Ability to create presentations and narrative reports for program participants and general public
  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in public health, human services, social science, behavioral science, or a related field required. Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in public health, human services, social science, behavioral science, special education, or a related field preferred.
  • Four years of increasingly responsible professional experience in a health-related field is required.
  • A state driver's license is required, with appropriate insurance coverage and reliable vehicle, to perform the essential duties of the position.
 

Responsibilities:
 

  • Support supervisory and professional staff and delegate projects and assignments
  • Collect and analyze statistical data
  • Plan, implement, develop, and evaluate an assigned program area
  • Prepare post-award grant reports
  • Conduct and develop public information campaigns
  • Plan and organize program activities and services
 

Special Notes:
 

This role is involved in a dynamic public health program. As such, roles and responsibilities are subject to change as situations evolve. Roles and responsibilities listed above may be expanded upon or updated to match priorities and needs, once written approval is received by both the CDC Foundation and Nevada Department of Health and Human Services, in order to best support the State of Nevada in their public health programming.
 

This position requires the regular operation of a motor vehicle during the course and scope of employment as an essential function of the job. As such, Employees in this position must possess and maintain a valid driver's license in their state of residence, must self-report motor vehicle violations/convictions, and must provide proof of acceptable insurance coverage with mandatory minimum coverages as set forth within the Driver Safety Motor Vehicle Policy (“Policy”). All offers of employment and continued employment for this position are contingent upon meeting all minimum qualifications of this Policy.
 

This position is located in Carson City, Nevada and will be working part time in the office and part time telecommuting for the foreseeable future. CDC Foundation retains the right to make adjustments to this as required.
