REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

Is directly accountable and responsible to the Executive Director of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 


1. Responsible for day-to-day operations of the program including program logistics and execution.

 


2. Responsible for planning, developing, directing, selling, implementing, reporting, and evaluating on Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program.

 


3. Responsible for assisting the Executive Director in preparation and management of the program budgets and performance metrics.

Position Description & Details


 

DUTIES:

 

Plans, develops, directs, sells, implements, and evaluates Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program. 90%

 

1. Plans, analyzes, manages, and evaluates Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program and their budgets to achieve programmatic outcomes.

 

2. With the assistance of the Lead Faculty, Lead Business Advisor, Alumni Manager, and Outreach Manager plans, executes, and delivers the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program.

 

3. Assists in the development of marketing plans in coordination with the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program staff.

 

4. Works closely with the Executive Director in matters relating to Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program including, but not limited to marketing, budgets, business plan, web page changes, social media marketing, and overall successful execution of the program.

 

5. Assist Executive Director in recruiting, selecting, interviewing, hiring, and evaluating the Lead Faculty and Business Advisors.

 

6. Coordinate logistics by scheduling meetings, reserving facilities, logistical details and items related to live events for each cohort. Act as liaison to faculty to assist in their needs during the Goldman Sachs program.

 

7. Work with Executive Director, Goldman Sachs, Bapson College for student selection, entrance into cohort Learning Management System, providing timely and accurate updates and information throughout program period.

 

Miscellaneous duties – 10%

 

8. Belongs to and actively participates in relevant professional associations, attends appropriate events, and conferences and stays abreast of emerging business issues and trends.

 

9. Supports innovation, creativity, and ideas to improve/enhance processes, functions, etc. in the department and for the college.

 

10. Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

Minimum Requirements


 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

 

1. Requires a bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience.

 

2. Experience with managing a budget, implementing financially self-supporting continuing education non-credit programs.

 

3. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, including the ability to speak well and present a good public appearance.

 

4. Must have the ability to plan, organize and determine methods that produce desired results and meet required deadlines.

 

5. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, etc.), email and electronic calendar, and strong internet familiarity.

 

6. Experience in creating, maintaining, and improving quality programs in continuing education programs, online learning, workforce training and conference/special events planning is highly desirable.

 

7. Ability to develop cooperative and collaborative relationships with diverse groups, both internal and external.

 

8. Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel up to 10-20%.

Preferred Qualifications


 

PREFERENCES:

 

1. Experience with community college philosophy.

2. An understanding of the issues and challenges of continuing education, particularly in the non-credit arena.

3. An entrepreneurial spirit in the approach to outreach programs.

4. Understanding of the community and workforce educational needs of North Dakota.

5. Experience with non-traditional (adult-oriented) post-secondary education and professional development.
