WE ARE FAMILIES FORWARD

Founded in 1935, the Fedcap Group is the parent company of a growing number of top-tier nonprofit agencies dedicated to serving over 300,000 children and adults each year across the United States and the United Kingdom. Families Forward was created to meet the needs of the people in Maine. We're a human services organization committed to helping individuals obtain long-term economic well-being. We work hard to provide access to employment, training, education, and community resources.

Nearly 60% of our staff have lived in Maine for over 20 years. "Mainers" to the core, our team models the strong work ethic and integrity our state is known for. We value each and every employee! This is why we provide competitive compensation, robust benefits, and plenty of opportunities for personal and professional growth to our program management team.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SITE MANAGER

As a Site Manager with our human services nonprofit, you are a vital member of the program management team. You excel at collaborating with the regional director to manage a high-performing, data-driven team committed to achieving exceptional outcomes. You are responsible for managing and delegating responsibilities to your site supervisor and ensuring that all employees within your Opportunity Center(s) are fully informed of agency policies and expectations.

Your enthusiasm for running reports in Fedcap CARES and using data to plan daily and weekly tasks are also key in creating longer-term strategies for site achievement. Analyzing site data and metrics for strengths and areas for improvement in performance and efficiency while identifying priority areas for staff and their assigned caseload is a fulfilling challenge in this site agent position. Utilizing your organizational skills, you conduct monthly case reviews to ensure compliance, quality, and adherence to standards, and lead the hiring, orientation, and training of employees.

Through your excellent communication skills in this Site Manager role, you ensure staff members are aware of policy, program, and agency changes, and you recognize and escalate concerns that may compromise operations and contractual obligations. As a coach and supporter of your program management team, you help to develop team members' skill sets and knowledge required to excel in their jobs. In this site agent position, you provide regularly scheduled supervision for direct reports and conduct a staff meeting at least once a month. Evaluating staff performance and identifying needed training and professional growth opportunities keeps you engaged and motivated.

Your coordination of all site operations including logistics, facilities, staffing, and adherence to program models and workflow is integral to the site's success. You investigate and provide follow-up and mediation for program participant and staff concerns, and manage the site calendar and PTO requests from staff to ensure coverage and business needs are met. While working as a site agent with our human services nonprofit, your attention to detail shines as you review and approve mileage and reimbursement requests to ensure their accuracy and adherence to agency policies. Representing Fedcap and Families Forward with all stakeholders and in the community in a positive and professional manner brings you great satisfaction in knowing that you're making a difference in the lives of those living in your community.
