As a NIBR Postbaccalaureate Intern, you will be responsible for conducting an independent research project under the mentorship of a Novartis research scientist.

Your Responsibilities Include:

* Attend on-boarding and training sessions
* Plan, design and execute an independent research project as agreed upon by your Novartis scientist mentor(s)
* Attend Postbaccalaureate Intern professional development sessions
* Attend graduate school classes and/or seminars determined necessary to position you for a top tier graduate/professional training program
* Present your research project at a program poster session or conference
* Adhere to all Novartis policies

* Have a GPA of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale
* Have a strong desire to pursue a graduate-level degree
* Are authorized to work in the US for any employer

The pay rate for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $22.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
