Responsibilities: The Allied Health (EKG & Phlebotomy) program seeks a dynamic, highly motivated, energetic and skilled educator with strong nursing and educational credentials to teach a diverse student population. Responsibilities include the instruction, discipline and guidance of students in the assigned area as well as completing all course related work as, needed. The educator must ensure that the quality of instruction provided in the classroom is consistent with the program objectives and industry standards.
Qualifications: A Master’s Degree in Nursing is required. The successful candidate must also have one year of acute care nursing experience. A licensed nurse with a current NYS professional registration, 8 years of acute care nursing experience, and a MD are strongly preferred. A minimum of two years of experience in teaching nursing is also preferred. S/he must have some familiarity incorporating technology into instruction and the ability to apply clinical nursing practice/experiences to the classroom environment. Please provide availability for day and evening classes.

Hourly Rate of Pay: $80.95/hour. No benefits. This position is fully grant funded.
