The successful AVP-ES candidate will have proven abilities in higher education enrollment practices, including:
Provide strategic direction and oversight to attract, recruit, and enroll a qualified, talented, and diverse student body in a manner that meets recruitment and retention goals.
Provide direction and oversight to the enrollment management team in implementing a successful admissions model.
Manage and direct the day-to-day strategies and functions of the recruitment, enrollment, and admissions programs.
Provide direction in the ongoing analysis of student retention statistics, soliciting and deciding upon evolutionary strategies for retention programs when necessary.
Master’s degree in relevant area of study is required.
8 to 10 years of progressively responsible experience in management, recruiting, advising and evaluating prospective students in a college admissions office.
Experience in private, graduate or professional school admissions preferred.
Prior experience must demonstrate planning, leadership and budgetary skills.
Experience with database management and social science research methodology.
Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proven organizational and prioritization skills.
Demonstrated experience in successfully managing a diverse workforce in various stages of professional development and experience.
This is a robust, salaried position requiring strong focus and dedication to achieving excellence. Flexibility with work hours will be a requirement of this position as there are regular travel dates, events and activities that may be outside standard office hours.
