Workflow Technician provides support, analysis, and full life cycle development of the District imaging system for Tarrant County College.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Performance Requirements*
Installs, configures, and maintains the District imaging and content management system at optimum performance and integration with college technologies
Utilizes District imaging system tools to design, test, implement, and manage electronic forms and workflow designs to streamline and automate business processes
Configure the District imaging system architecture to ensure record security, integrity, and access
Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information
Act as a liaison and technical resource for designing and implementing imaging projects
Collaborate with various TCCD business units to facilitate implementation of new or improved functionality and reporting
Gather business requirements as needed
Writes steps required to configure and maintain the District imaging system; prepares flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate computer program steps and operation
Converts project specifications into sequence of detailed instructions and logical steps for coding into a functional computer language
Documents the computer program configuration, logic, coding, and corrections
Provides formal hands on training
Install and configure software on computers
Analyzes and troubleshoots imaging and electronic processing issues
Service Excellence
Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through the Tarrant County College (TCC) Institute
Supports the values of the College: diversity, teaching excellence, student success, innovation and creativity and service to the College
*Performs other related tasks as required

Required Minimum Qualifications
Associates degree in computer science or related field and one (1) year of work experience in computerized systems, records management, project management or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of the Laserfiche document imaging and enterprise content management system
Knowledge of web design languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Working knowledge of the document imaging systems, electronic records and content management system
Skilled in analysis, research, and technical writing
Demonstrated knowledge of project management
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Proficient in standard office equipment and computer hardware / software applications
Effective interpersonal and communications skills that include tact and diplomacy
Effective organizational and planning skills to prioritize, implement, and manage multiple projects
Attention to detail and accuracy of work, while staying focused for periods of time in an office environment
Ability to write efficient correspondence and reports
Ability to present information effectively to internal/external contacts
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret college records (i.e., technical, financial, legal)
Skilled in analysis, research, and technical writing
Demonstrated knowledge of project management
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
